As the warm water tumbled delightfully over my back in the shower today, I looked at my feet and considered how much water I usually use to take a bath. Such thoughts led later to an encounter with work being done in Haiti by Water.org with its local Haitian partner, Haiti Outreach.
With growing fascination, I read the entries for a 5 day visit to Haiti this spring by April Davies, Water.org International Program Manager.
With gratitude to God for the clean water and safe sanitation practices I live with daily, I sent off my meager donation to assist this worthy organization to fund local demand-driven, locally sustained water projects around the world.
